The beginning.
I’m a chronic list maker and obsessive list crosser-offer so this whole 101 things in 1001 days meme that’s been going around is right up my neurotic alley. It took me almost a month to actually amass 101 things that I could conceivably hope to accomplish in a little under 3 years and I still think I’m stretching it with a few of these. So….without further ado, my list:
- Finish reading 75% of the books I own (300ish)
- Go to a music festival
- Learn rudimentary Spanish
- Go back to France and visit my city (Besancon)
- Visit David where ever he may be in the world
- Go to Japan
- Get my website up and running
- Cook a 3 course meal all by myself
- Learn / get more comfortable with shooting night photography
- Fill up a sketchbook with drawings
- Learn how to use my small flash
- Visit Jenny in Seattle
- Finally visit Niki in Chicago
- Write consistently in a paper journal or private blog
- Get my bmi around 21
- Ride my bike to work at least once
- Begin my Ashtanga yoga practice again
- Go vegan again for a month
- Watch the entirety of “Seven Samurai”
- Finish editing photos from all my trips and print them
Commit to an idea and get a tattoo- Buy grown-up matching furniture
- Move outside of Ohio
- Tell someone “no” once a week for a month
- Complete a Sunday NY Times Crossword puzzle
Send a care package to someone- Spend 24 hours relaxing in bed or on a couch with no phones or internet
- Take the ferry to the Camden Aquarium in Philadelphia
- Get drunk before noon
- Write a handwritten letter
- have boudoir photos taken
Have a picnic in Rittenhouse Square- Take a buggy ride around central park
- Raise $1,000 for a good cause
- babysit a child

Go kareoke-ing and actually sing a song by myself in front of people- Learn how to tie a tie

- Learn how to give CPR
